  1. im confused, u have a 52 day cycle?

edit: oh okay i just got it, um no my cycle is wierd it happens when it feels like it, but no i havent gotten pregnant from my late ovulation.

  2. My cycle is about the same length (47 days). I have 4 kids and have been a surrogate!

  3. I might occur and being normal if you are older than 35 years, otherwise it could be an imbalance but still get pregnant.

  4. ?

  5. Normal cycles last between 21 and 35 days. Menstrual cycles lasting longer than 35 days are called oligomenorrhea (=not enough menses) [shorter cycles are called polymenorrhea]. You should also check and see if you ovulated or not. You say you ovulated, but didn't say how you know for sure.

With very long cycles, chances are that you did not ovulate. (What does your BBT curve say?) Long cycles are usually associated with ovulation problems: It's very likely that there is no ovulation (anovulation), that ovulation is very irregular, or that ovulation is abnormal (egg quality is inadequate). If you ovulate very late in a cycle, chances are that implantation is impaired because both the egg and the endometrium are too old. If you did ovulate very late, then you may want to start another graph starting two to three weeks later, and continue the graph knowing that it's longer. If you did not ovulate, then you may want to see your ob-gyn or an infertility doctor (reproductive endocrinologist) and find out what's going on. Your doctor will examine you and see if there is a problem with your ovulation and assess how to treat it. Sometimes your doctor will give you medication to induce bleeding so that you can start a new cycle.

  6. I don't know why everyone is acting all confused. A lot of women do NOT have 28 day cycles. It's a common problem.

And to answer your question YES! I just had a 42 day cycle and just found out last week the I am pregnant. I ended up ovulating on CD 28. I am now 5 weeks pregnant. So yep it happens. I wish you the best!

Ohh and I concieved my first daughter on a 120 day cyle...NO JOKE!! She is now a perfectly healthy beautiful 2 year old. So to those that are saying it can't happen...they don't know what they are talking about
