Anyone have more information on the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honors Society

Question

I made the Dean's List for my community college (Allan Hancock) and I'm now eligible for Alpha Gamma Sigma. I know that it would look good on a resume but the only chapter open is pretty far from where I live. I'd like to know exactly what is expected from the society; participation wise, etc. Is it like Who's Who or do I need to do more than just fill out papers and get recommendations?
