Anyone have or know anything about projector screen tv's? How are they compared to your normal?

flat screen or big screen tv? Husband wants to buy one from Sam's club for like $700, but I've never heard of one before?

  1. -Do Not buy a Big Screen TV. They're visually poor, specially from the sides and from far, and once they're broken there's no way to fix them unless you spend tons of money. Even if they're at $10 bucks and brand new don't get it.

    -Flat screen TV is your best choice but be careful, there's lots and lots of recycled ones around and charge you for a brand new one. Get one with all the guarantee and papers that come with.

    -Now... A Projector is an awesome idea if you can watch TV and movies with. But... You need a big room because when the image is too close to you -as projectors do- you'll be blind or crazy or something like that in no time. Projectors are fun but remember the big room and also "Be Sure" the projector has the capability to watch TV with because most of them are for movies only.

    -Lastly:

    Whatever you decide, be sure the device or the TV "Has Digital Capability" as all TVs must be Digital starting on February 2009 and by law...
