Anyone have problems with Windows Vista locking up internet explorer?

Okay, I have the same trouble with internet expl. and windows vista. How do u get firefox?? (yes, I dunno jack about computers)

Yep...IT bloke told me to back-up all data and re-install windows...

All the time on my old laptop... switched to the great Firefox 3 and it is so much better and faster than ie7
