Anyone out here have road rage?

What was the worst thing you did to the person a person during road rage? This could be you raging at the other person or you defending yourself against the rager.

  1. I live & work around Chicago. I'm used to the c**p so I don't get rage. However, I did put a lady in the wall with my semi because she thought she could pass me on the shoulder. I didn't rage her, I just simply didn't move. So, in reality, it was her fault for driving on the shoulder, improper lane usuage, & failing to yield because I was there first. Oh well.

  2. Sometimes, but I keep it cool.....most of the time.

Honk, flash my lights or curse are the worst things I have ever done. I have never run any driver off the road or anything like that.

  3. I'm actually a pretty calm driver when I'm racing.  My ex on the other hand was a friggin psycho from h**l.  One time this POS car full of Mexicans just barely tapped her rear bumper at a stop light accidentally....didn't even put a scratch on my girlfriends car.  She freaks out and went into one of her psycho fits, jumps out of the car, stomps over to the drivers side window of the other car...and punches it.  She succeeded in cracking the window, and freaking the h**l out of the poor mexican guy.  One of the many reasons I got away from that psycho.  She's a cop now....doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy and safe?  lol.  God help us.

  4. I live in Australia, and while compared to the rest of the world our road conditions are probably fairly good- it still isnt really the safest place to drive in my opinion. Well, Sydney anyway.

Its the mos populated city in Australia, and more and more Im finding people are losing patience in general with driving. Also, Im finding that people forget to do the basic courteous things when driving and this scares me- things like indicating when changing lanes.. a lot of people also drive in transit 2 lanes when there is only one person in the car.. i guess this is a reflection of the times where people simply just think of themselves.. too much stress going on.

There was an incident a couple years back where an old guy cut in front of a younger guy on a busy city road.. at the lights the younger guy got out of his car and got the old guy out on the road and smacked him to the ground.. the old guy died.

this doesnt happen much so the city was quite shocked. But I have had people follow me, tailgating is common, mostly for being 'slow' (in other words actually sticking to the speed limit) or not turning when there is a very small gap in the traffic, preferring to wait for a longer gap. Some people seem to think thats an offence that justifies chasing someone down the road and scaring them with honking lights and hand gestures but perhaps they dont realise that this in itself can be much more potentially dangerous..they probably dont care..

road rage is definitely getting worse in Australia, yep.
