Anyone have some code for a typical NPC character in a video game?

I need some typical code, like java code, for an NPC game character. Is there any way I can get this from the files of a game I already own, or is there a full example of this code online anywhere? Many thanks!

Depending on what the game is is what the code will be.  Some game developers use straight C for developing NPC's, while others have their own specific coding language to accomplish this.  There are also gaming engines which you can go buy who have specific coding, but its the same coding cross-games.  I bought one some years ago from garagegames.com
