I am currently working in West Africa. I am hoping to put together a computer camp for adults who have never used a computer before. I will spend two days on mouse work and getting around and two days with a word processor. Does anyone have any advice/resources that might be of assistance?

  1. Use lessons from 'The Greenwich Scheme of Work for ICT' (see URL below). Each Unit breaks down into roughly 6 lessons as follows:

    * An Overview lesson to outline the purpose of the unit.

    * A series of Short Focused Tasks specifically for learning the necessary ICT skills.

    * An Integrating Activity that draws upon these skills and integrates them within a context.

    * A Review lesson to reflect on the aims of the Unit.

Either way, pick and mix different lessons with the provided resources too. Hope this helps!
