Anyone have to have their animal quarantined in Japan??

I will be moving to Japan later this year, and I have two dogs that may have to be quarantined. I am getting all kinds of information online about it but I am looking for someone who has gone thru it or knows someone who has. Thank you!!

Well, if I remember correctly (I was a military brat who lived in Japan) pets are quarantined in Japan for approximately 6 months to make sure they're not carrying anything into the country.  Good luck on your move, and I know you'll enjoy Japan.
