Very frustrated with the system. I've no issue with the internet access but the phone line at home really giving me big headaches. I can't make outgoing calls nor receiving incoming calls, each time i got to reboot my modem to make calls & frens & relatives couldn't call me at home as the phone line down. I 've been advised by the crew fm singtel to change my phone saying it's faulty but i was not true. I've changed 2 new phone but the problems still can't be resolved!Very troubled as I was tied down by a 30mths contracts, i still have 24 more mths to go.. how ???

  1. Which Mio configuration are you using?

Are you using VoIP through the modem box, rather than a regular phone running off the DSL splitter before the DSL modem?

Try using a standard corded telephone (not cordless) - will that work?  Sometimes there are interference conflicts if you have various wireless devices running in same area (especially if wireless devices are 2.4 Ghz vs 5.8 Ghz).  Testing with a "corded" phone will eleminate wireless issues.

If using standard phone before modem, make sure the DSL filter is correctly installed and not defective (replace with another filter to verify).  Disconnect "All" telephones in house except for 1 that you are testing (possilbe conflict between phones).  If you can get 1 to work, then add others one-by-one to test for conflicts.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to advise without knowing exact equipment configuration and layout, etc.
