Anyone having trouble with Windows defender?

It says it's turned off!!

Anyone know how to switch it back on, Please.

I have been using it since it came out and have had no problems with it.

If you open it up > Tools > Options > Scroll down till you come to > Real Time Options and tick > Use Real time protection. Tick all the other options.

I have also set mine up to do a full scan at 3 am daily because it takes two hours to do.

Set it to 'Monitor for viruses yourself' at control panel > check the computers security status under Security heading

yes its a pain on xp but not too bad w/ vista sry no idea how to turn it on try replaceing it wiht avg fre  from www.download.com (a cnet branch)

Open windows defender, click tools, and click options, and scroll down until you see enable real time protection. Then it will be back on
