Anyone hear about getting a second stimulus check?

a friend told me she saw on the news that Bush and Congress had both signed to send out a second stimulas check...

anyone else heard about this? (my friend lives down near Arkansas...said she saw this on the world news...)

i havent heard that it was signed but did hear the democrats were trying to push for another one...heard if it goes thru it will be around sept that we get it

This is being talked about in Congress. At this point it is all talk. We will just have to wait to see if anything happens with this. They need to be talking about ways to help with energy costs.

I have heard of a second one but I'm really thinking this is wishful thinking..

It may have been easy to get the first one through both houses of congress but this could be harder...

Granted it has been discussed but I really doubt it will be passed. I really don't see how the first one passed. All this stimulus has to paid eventually by the taxpayers,.....so it is kind of a bogus "gift." Also, the housing bill is all paid for by the taxpayers so there goes your stimulus.....somewhere down the line.

No, I haven't heard about a second stimulus check. Would be nice, but I doubt it.
