Anyone heard of Hide-My-IP!?

Question

I am thinking about getting hide my ip, but before I get it I want to know this one question.

When you buy Hide MY IP, and you get someone else IP, do they give your IP away to someone else who also bought the product.

Because the only thing I am worried about is like some guy from another country downloading like illegal music and movies on my pc, and doing illegal stuff

It sounds like it is essentially a proxy program. I wouldn't invest in it myself try the site I listed in sources. Just go to Tools>Internet Options>Connections> LAN Settings. Check the box for proxy server and input the codes into the necessary boxes. That's if you are using internet explorer. Haven't looked at Firefox for it.

Dont worry about it.

A proxy is a way the relay your internet off of another server.

They wont do anything with your IP.

People use proxies all the time, and you will not get in any trouble.
