Anyone heard of WMI 5.1 from microsoft?

Question

my firewall just asked me if I wanted to give wmi 5.1 access to the internet, as I didn't reconise that name I blocked it but on closer inspection I noticed that it had something to do with microsoft so I removed the wmi block, this also led to deleating wmi fron the firewalls list of trusted/blocked programs so I will have to wait till wmi 5.1 wants access to the internet again before I can allow it full access, but what is WMI 5.1 anyone know ??

It's one of these technical things which live under the hood of Windows. Here's some info on it from Microsoft.

It looks as if it's to with remotely accessing your PC, as you probably never do this, don't worry.
