Anyone heard of a water bottle that has a filter right inside it?

i bought a water bottle from target a while ago called fit and fresh filtered water bottle. the top part of the bottle has a small removable filter and the bottom of the bottle can be filled with tap water to be filtered before drinking. i just now opened it and due to the reaction of some people i was wondering if this was truly a good buy. does anyone else have one of these?

I just won one the other day. It's a great idea since I filter my water at home and use a re-usable. If I run out I'm stuck with tap or buying a disposable bottle. It filters nearly as much as a Brita pitcher. They also sell them at Bed Bath and Beyond and Linens and Things.  The downside is most are made with the bad plastic.

I like to have one bottle of this design, this is cut edge design, and may attract lots of eyesight.

yeh, my frend ( louis ) has one of those thigns but he doesn't trust the filter that quickly althought people do say that it does work....
