Question:

Anyone heard of iDrive clubs?

I'm looking for a set of irons. I'm new to playing and was trying to find a decent set of irons, that aren't too ridiculous price-wise. Does anyone have any info on a brand called iDrive? I'm assuming it's a knock-off company, but I've known a few people who have been very pleased with companies like this. Just looking for some input.

  1. I Drive clubs are knock offs of the Callaway FT-i driver...what's good about them is that they are cheap, the bad part is they have no trade-in value, and if anything goes wrong with the driver, they won't repair it for free.

One more piece of info...the reason clubs like Callaway, Ping, and Titleist cost more is because they're assembled in the USA and labor costs more here.

Personally, I'd stay away from the knock-off clubs just because you're not 100% guaranteed the quality. Plus you won't fitted for the clubs, which is the most important part of buying equipment.

  2. iDrive=Cheap clone. They may look like the real deal but they are poorly designed, poorly constructed and made of inferior quality materials. You are better off going to a place like RockBottomGolf and buying name brand clubs that are last year's model.

  3. Never heard of them - but remember you get what you pay for.

  4. Ask the same people who are pleased whether they will be pleased in 2 months when the head flys off there 3 month old driver and the company doesn't want to know.

  5. Listen to the first reply!
