  3. My partners father is in exactly the same position.  Of equal concern is the fact that One Mobile Village appear to be processing a multitude of further orders with other operators, including Virgin and O2.  I have cancelled the direct debit mandate, but believe they might have credit card details and are attempting to create further contracts that way.  The way the original order is obtained is dubious, but for Orange to then relentlessly pursue the contract is disturbing - they have a responsibility for the actions of their sales agents.  I will be reporting this to the local Trading Standards office.

  4. No Idea but I would keep a record of every call you have madfe in relation to this and back it up with itemised phone bills. keep copies of all letters and emails. send all letters by registered post and keep track of the cost. when it comes to your day in court just tell you side of the story. they will have lawyers but don't be intimidated. Try also going to the Citizens Advice Bureau and trading standards agency, and BBC Watchdog. this could be happening to other people and is a bigger thing. also try the police. tell them some one has stolen your identity and are obtain goods and service with it.
