  1. Fuji is ok. Made in Japan. Good entry level bike.

  2. I actually own the Fuji Nevada 1.0. I bought it several weeks ago and love it so far. I believe it is a great entry-level bike. It has handled everything I have put it through so far with ease, some stuff being pretty advanced. As far as your other choices, I like the Specialized (believe it and Fuji are comparable). Im not a fan of Trek so I cant comment on that one.

  3. I've been riding and racing Fuji since 83 check out the jersey in my Avatar.  I have had many Fuji bikes and they have all perfomed very well, I ride/race road so no idea of the Nevada but as far as a brand Fuji is great.

  4. Fuji Nevada 1.0 Is a good entry level MTB.

Good build, I'm not a fan of Tektro Brakes.

FRAMESET: Fuji Altair 1 Aluminum with Power Diamond down tube, top tube/seat tube gusset, Integrated head tube, down tube gusset, double water bottle mounts

FORK: NEW Suntour SCM 28mm Stanchions, w/ hydraulic lockout, 80mm travel

DRIVETRAIN: NEW SR Suntour Epicon, 22/32/42T with Chain guard , Shimano Deore rear and SR Suntour XCM 202 front derailleurs. Shimano Acera EZ Fire shifter/brake, 24-speed.

WHEELS: Fuji sealed bearing disc, Alex ID-17 rims

    FEATURES: Tektro I0-Mechanical w/ 160mm Wave Rotor

  5. Fuji has been around since the late 1960s. Originally built in Japan they are now built in China or Taiwan depending on the model.

They used to be some of the best bikes made, now they are pretty much in line with everyone else. Good value for the price.

The Nevada 1.0 is a good all terrain bike... intended for off road on medium terrain, cross country... definitely not for big drops or jumps.

I would take the Fuji over your other options.
