Anyone heard of the man eating catfishes?

Has anyone heard of the rumors of Cat fish in the USA that are so big they have killed humans. I was reading tales about divers that went down to look at a boat and on the bottom of the lake.And there was a huge catfish that could have killed them. They say that most likely the catfish gets so big that it will lay there and suck anything up that swims buy. If this is true why dont they send down cameras and find them.

I live near belton lake, ive heard stories about a monster catfish that could swallow a buick. A group of divers a couple years back went down to repair the dam, they all quit the next day when they claimed to have seen it.
