Anyone help me on this questions , is the resolution improve the picture quality in camcorder? Thanx?

I could find two camcorder in SONY sr45 and SR65 , one of the difference is Resolution is more in SR65 . Is it improve the picture quality or in which way this feature participate in Camcorder. Really appriciated if anyone answer this question

  1. They are describing the resolution of the camcorder's built in LCD screen. The actual image being recorded is still the same resolution in both cameras.
