Anyone help me with a neopet item-sending problem?

Question

my friend sent me an item (bri codestone)....i clicked "see all events"and then i clicked the word "item" on the left...when i did, the page refreshed and went to my inventory page but the codestone sent to me wasn't even there...i looked in the "closet" and "safety deposit box" and the item didn't show up..what could be wrong?

TNT has it set so when you get sent an item, you ahve the option of accepting or declining it.
