Question:

Anyone help with my ipod?!

ive recently been putting music onto a friends ipod which worked fine so i got mine out and reset it, plugged it in thinking it would work! However it wont let me put music on mine now at all, and ive tried downloading the itunes it suggested my ipod needs!

  2. There could be several things wrong.  My first idea would be to restore the iPod firmware (Click on the Pic of iPod and click restore.)

    You could also try reinstalling iTunes.

    My final suggestion would be something wrong with the iPod itself.  If it is a hard drive based player (Nanos and shuffles used flash. Not sure 'bout Mini though.  All regular iPods used a hard drive) I would put it up to my ear and see if there is a clicking noise.  If there is this means the Hard Drive is broken.  You can try freezing it (I believe 24 hours of freezing the hard drive ONLY gets about an hour of play time) but that requires taking it apart.
