Well I'm not a fan of hers. I think she'd probably make it through to at least the 4th round of Roland Garros and also Wimbledon, but that's also if she gets an easy draw. I just see her as a very inconsistent player, and in 2008 she hasn't made any remarkable result. Let's see if she could defend her Wimbledon points

im not at all, and i think she dont deserv to b in top 10 as wel, there are many other good players, she is one slam wonder runer up

I met Bartoli and her dad at a tennis tournament and she's really a nice girl. I always hope she would do well.

Bartoli is a true talent but lacks discipline. Everything from her unorthodox game and lack of fitness seems to point to that. She needs a fitness trainer and new coach if she is to take her game to the next level.

She and Cornet are the best French hope at RG. Depending on the draw, I see her making the quarterfinals at most.

I would not say that I am actually a fan of hers, but I dont not pay attention to her either. John McEnroe said couple of years back on a telecast, "watch out for this young girl, shes one of my favorites". Well last season she broke out, but since, has failed to do anything worthy. She built up alot of points not just from Wimbledon but throughout the year, and this season she is losing in the early rounds. I dont expect her to go far at Wimby and will lose a whole bunch of points and slip in the rankings, but should remain within top 20 for a while. France now has a nice lil group of women ( Golovin, Bartoli, Razzano, Cornet, the ever so rapidly fading Mauresmo etc ).

No, I think she's a cheap knock-off version of Monica Seles, but nowhere near as good.  Bartoli has the ugliest service motion I have ever seen.  She also needs to lose weight if she wants to stay in or around the top 10.

i do not dislike her. i think she is probably a sweet girl.... and she overcame her fitness issues..... but i was upset when she ruined justine henins wimbledon semifinal... a match that will haunt justine henin forever,now that she is retired, and that was her last match at wimbledon...

well i think bartoli got very lucky, considering most of her wins she came from sets down and behind to win..... i think the better players choked agains't her a bit..

its possible she could see quaterfinal at french and wimbledon...

I wouldn't exactly say I'm a "fan" of hers but she seems pleasant and her run to the Wimbledon final last year was great. Sadly though, I see that as her highlight week. She may do OK this year but I'd be VERY surprised if she repeated that effort.

I wouldn't call myself a fan of hers, but she definitely caught my eye when she got to the finals at Wimbeldon against Venus Williams last year. I'd like to say she could repeat her success but so far this year she really hasn't played very consistently this year. But she has allot of potential to have success at the French since she got to the fourth round last year, and the finals at Wimbeldon, we'll see how she does, I wish they would hurry up and announce the draw for the French, I'm anxious to make early big matchups, LOL.
