Anyone here a fan of rowing?

I wanna get into the sport and don't know a whole lot about it. What kind of times would you need to be selected for the U.S. men's lightweight rowing team and about how hard would it be to get those times?

Never too late for rowing when you're still in high school. It's a bit hard but i used to be a rower in my old time in high school too.

Those are world record times, so yeah, it's hard.  Those guys come from rowing even in high school, plus good rowing colleges.  Kinda late at this point.

it is NOT too late. Almost everyone starts rowing in highschool so you have plenty of time. Rowing is an amazing sport that you should defeintely consider joining, and try finding a good team that goes to Nationals so you can get into a division I team for college, and then from then on you can join other teams that are more competitive. Start small, and you can get the times you need!!
