  1. They love it in Germany. My relatives there made me try it, it's gross, yuck! I think it's something that you get used to or have to grow up with to like it.

  2. It looks and sounds yucky.....I have heard that it has to be cooked right to be good, so make sure you try it at a knowledgeable restaurant.

  3. Buy from a specialist butcher. Its also called a 'black pudding sausage.' Haven't eaten it myself. Never been game enough.

  4. I have.  It was years ago and I do not remember the exact taste. Look for it at Filipino restaurants.

  5. No, but Condoleeza Rice had a romantic relationship with one

  6. No, I never tasted blood sausage.

  7. Yes, many times. I live in Estonia and we eat blood sausage every christmas. We eat it with cranberry jam. It's not bad.. I like it when it's really crispy on the outside. But I can't eat more than one. The taste is different, depending on how they were made. Normally it has a rich taste and you can't taste the blood., lol

  8. *THROWS UP*

we sold it at hollywood deli. Old people eat that $hit up.

  9. It tastes really good with hot rice. You can get it in any Spanish food store. It tastes like a regular sausage with a kick

  10. Not the most tastesiest of things I would not reacommend you eat them but give them a try anyway

  11. Yes I have tried it.  It is very rich and a little bit goes a long way.  You may find it at a British Shop or German Deli.  You may find it under the name black pudding in a British food shop.

  12. Yes, I have eaten it in Vietnam and the Philippines.  It has a very different taste from anything i've eaten, it goes good with fried rice.  Try it you will like it if fixed by someone who knows how.

  13. I've had it in Spain (called "morcilla")... and ask for it every time I go. I often have it fried and eat it between two pieces of crunchy bread. It's as good as the spices it's made with. Tasts kind of like liver.

  14. i've tried it when i was in france.  it's not like you can taste blood or anything.  it has a mild flavour.  i love it.

  15. Yes and depending how it's made it can taste very good.

Try it cold on some rye with mustard or hot with fried potatoes and an egg (over easy) on top. It has somewhat of a smooth taste to it and there's the soft variety and the hard (like salami) variety which I prefer. Overall it's not bad , but it's not something I would put on my regular grocery list. They sell them in some commisary's on miltary posts, in the German section.

Thought I'd ad you a link here to show the difference and show you a place to order the sausage. (You will see it called Blutwurst---it's german for blood sausage)
