I was wondering this because I would like to know what you paid for yours (in the U.S.), how much recovery time did it take you? Were you pleased with the results. I would like to have this surgery and I am aware my insurance will not cover it. I have heard it can be as expensive as $30-$45,000 depending on how severe the case is. Mine would not be "severe." I just need some bone cutting, reshaping and repositioning. Thanks everyone in advance and good luck to everyone!

  1. The bill for just the hospital in 2005 was $20,000. The surgeon was $5000. The results for my daughter's surgery was amazing. She had an underbite and they moved her upper jaw forward 4mm. Feel free to write to me.
