Anyone here familiar with NEOPETS??

Question

New to the neopets things. And I was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me that I cant find answer to on the site.

1. Whats a guild?

2. What are avatars?

3. Where can I see what avatars I have?

4. Is there a site that list the estimated prices of items that are to expensive for the shop wizard?

5. Are there ways of getting rare items other than just buying them?

1. A guild (or also known as a club) is a place where users can get together, chat, talk about their interests.

EX: Let's say I have a tree guild, anybody who like tree's and want to talk about them can join my guild. You get to meet new people who have the sam interests as you.

2. Avatars are pictures that let people recognize you. They are mainly/mostly used in the neoboards. They appear under your username.

3. To see what avatars you have, why don't you click on over to neoboard preferences. It'll have defaults, but if you scroll down far enough (in your avatar list) you'll find some that say hidden (if you find any).

4. There isn't any specific site that lists them, as there are hundreds/thousands that are over 99,999NP. But a site that has all the items is http://items.jellyneo.net

5. There are multiple ways to get some "rare" items. Some can be obtained by playing certain games, some can be obtained by getting random events, and also buying/trading them.

A guild is a group that you can join to network with other players.

Avatars are like icons or avs for other sites, it shows when you make forum posts and shows when you're online to other people who have you on their friends list.

I'm really not sure what you mean by estimated prices for expensive items, (my English is not perfect).

You can get rare items by joining campaigns and winning games and participating in contests. Sometimes you'll get rare items from the faeries.

This is a good place to start looking.... it helps with many things, especially things not on the site.
