Anyone here from the UK?

Question

I am studying in London and have bought two flags to bring home with me, but I have seen three different ones: the Union Jack, a white one with a red cross in the center, and a white one with a blue cross and four lions on it. Can somebody please explain to me what the differences are in these flags? Thanks!

My parents are both English! the Union Jack is a cross between those three flags. The other two are each a part of the union jack.

the first two are obvious ... the union flag and the St George's cross

the other one has me stumped ... white with a blue cross? the Scottish flag is blue with a white diagonal cross, are the lines of the cross on your flag diagonal or horizontal-vertical? ... four lions? often you get three lions (like on the football emblem) but four has me confused ... and you say it's got England on it, even more puzzling

Union Jack: represents the whole of the United Kingdom

White one with red cross: represents England

White one with blue cross: represents Scotland

The four lions  have  something to do with a  United  religion . I am not   from  the UK  but there is a lot of unified religion in the Eurozone (e, g,. Ireland  has  three colors  one  represents  Catholicism on one  end the  other  end  represents  Protestantism . the  white in the middle demonstrate unity of both within sectarianism. I don't know where any other religion falls but perhaps Christianity is very more Unified than say any other worldview or religion this is a guess but I am sure it is the case. The one from Scotland is too

To be on the safe side buy all of them and then you can always sell it on EBay.
