Anyone here gained weight on Paxil?

Question

Since I constantly hear people say how they have gained weight on Paxil, but that their doctor says that it isnt a side affect, I'd like to hear your stats.

I've been on Paxil CR for 4 years.

I was 108 when I started it.

I am now 150.

I believe Paxil caused me to gain this weight!!!

Hmm, i've been on Paxil for 2 months now. i have gained a few pounds but nothing major. I was told weight gain was a possible side effect. In all honesty tho, I've stopped working out and let myself have whatever i want. Counter the Paxil with diet and exercise. Both of which are recommend for depression/anxiety.

I would definitley say meds make you gain weight if your on them for a Long period of time. (=

The Paxil had me craving sugar, sugar, sugar! I swear! It's not like I ate ,more than usual, I would push away a piece of fruit and say to myself, "Gotta have cinnamon red hots!".
