  1. I have not had one myself but my friend did and i would say that you should def take a few days off work after because you are going to be very uncomfortable.  Basically all they do is make a small cut around the area of your belly button and look in with a camera to see what they can see, they may also take some samples but dont worry you will be asleep and it doesnt last very long.  And remember this is just another hurdle that you have to cross to having a baby so you will be 1 step closer afterwards.

Good luck on ttc and hope your journey is not too hard like so many journeys are for some people!!!!

  2. yes i had laproscopy n hysteroscopy done......its minor surgery......they usually check it to check endrometrium lining and polycyst......they make a small hole near ur naval and one on the top of bikini line....then they put very thin pipe sort of thing in that cavity...that has very little camera attached...then they check everythin on camera .you should take atleast three days off work.they usually ask you to rest 24 to 48 hours.but I needed 3 to 5 days.you dont need to be nervous .they will make u rest for around 4 hours in hospital and then someone can bring you home.good luck and lots of baby dust your way.

  3. I've had heaps of laparoscopy's done all they do is put some kinda dye inside ur v****a then cut the slightest hole just below ur belly button and put a camera inside if the dye comes out both tubes they are open and you can concieve if the dye doesn't come out both tubes the doctor will chat to you for other ways of concieving good luck.
