Anyone here living on a total fruitarian diet permanently ??

do you honestly feel much better for it. and does it reduce the obvious ailments which are associated with meat eating and stuff.how long did it take you to move to just total fruit ??

  1. My daughter is and has been for a few years;

    it took about a year for her body to adjust;

    she eats nuts and seeds and uses soy protein drinks etc:


  2. If you eat only fruit, you are going to die.  Same goes for any diet restricted to only a few foods or one food group.

    You need a balanced diet with protein and minerals (like calcium) and healthy fats (like Omega 3).  You can eliminate meat, but you need to eat beans and other things to give you enough protein to regenerate your muscles.

  4. Erm, I'm not. Even though I saw on The Diet Doctors how ill it made someone, I'm still tempted to try it out...

  5. just doing it to lose weight....porridge...soup...fruit.... each day..yes am feeling better and losing weight but am always hungry..!!!!!

  6. I have seen a programme on someone who did this and she had terrible health consequences.  The only way to stay healthy and give your body the nutrients it needs is to eat a balanced diet.
