I am on Seroquel XR 300. Can you get sick the next day from just missing one dose? I take one every night. I missed one night and the next day I felt sick. I missed another day and felt sick the day after that too. As soon as I got my pills filled and took one at night the next morining I was all better. Can withdraws happen that fast?

  1. Withdrawals can happen EXTREMELY fast. thats why they are so dangerous. I Was on Seroquel 400mg nightly for a month and decided to stop because i was gaining so much weight. I know i shouldnt have, but after the first day i went through withdrawal for a week, non stop dizzyness nausea such and such, its horrible. be careful with seroquel, you need to watch your diet and everything else, it can really get to you. i would suggest to ask your doc about Invega, that worked great for me :D

  2. that's not good, you cant miss you doses, you could relapse try to be better with it, i know how you feel i am 16 and i had the same experience, i take sequel too if you have a problem with keeping track with your doses try getting a pill box and you wont forget!!!

  3. I was on seroquel about a year ago. I don't seem to remember having any side effects like that if i missed a dose. it's really important though to remember to take your medicine every day. If your still having some of those effects, call your doctor. Good luck:)

  4. I was on it when I was younger, it never made me sick but it made me even more tired than Thorazine.

Tired is a light word for it, more like "zombiefied". I was half asleep and completely out of it all the time, thank goodness I was in my early teens and wasn't expected to drive. I don't think I could deal with it now.

On the bright side, it stopped me from being confrontational just like it was supposed to. How can you fight when all you want to do is sleeeeep?

    :)

  5. I have been on Seroquel and absolutely hated it!! One missed dose and then I felt sick as a dog! Not only that, but even when I was taking it correctly I felt sick. Like someone put it "zombified" is totally how I felt. It gave me nausea and headaches and is just a bad drug in my eyes. If you are only getting sick when you dont take it or are going through withdrawls then I recommend you have your meds filled in advance just to avoid the issue. As always, consult your Dr.
