Question:

Anyone here think alberta has the most rodeos in western Canada?

thats what ive been told and its part of thier heritage, but in Manitoba, and Sask, we have rodeos to, but apparently alberta has more?

  1. The Stampede is the big one of course, Canadian finals, and lots of other smaller one's around towns and indian reservations.


  2. I have no idea! There are a lot of smaller ones all over the prairies and Ontario and if you are into rodeo - they are all great.

    "The Canadian Cowboys Association (CCA) sanctions over 60 rodeos across Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Montana for over 700 rodeo members competing in roughstock and timed events. The CCA is the largest semi-professional rodeo association in Canada."

    Probably the most famous is the Calgary Stampede which is on right now.  Hurry or you'll miss it!
