Anyone here use Shoreline East /Metro North in CT?

Question

How is the service? Trains run on time?

I just took a position West of New Haven (Live in New London) that I will be using the train to commute back and forth on a daily basis and I want to know how reliable the service is. Thanks!

I use metro north on occasion from New Haven into Grand Central. The train is always on time when I've used it, and a very comfortable ride. It can be annoying that it stops in all these miniscule towns along the gold coast that nobody has ever heard of (Rowayton?!), but its still better than taking 95 down the CT coast.
