Question:

Anyone here used fabric to make a scrapbook?

A friend of mine recommended this as a good way to use some vintage flour sack fabric. If you've done this, what size did you make it? Did you use starch? Did you attach pictures, and if so, how? I'm thinking of using the fabric not just for the cover, but for all the pages.

  1. I would be careful about using starch in a scrapbook as it invites critters who like the taste. Instead of starch I would use a glue based fabric stiffener.

I've made fabric album covers, and used fabric on pages but never used fabric AS the page.

Another thought...you could use Wonder Under or Steam a Seam 2 to make your fabric into a fusible. Fuse it to both sides of the white cardstock that comes in the page protectors.

Good luck and I'd love to see what you create.
