Anyone here work at a gas station??

Question

Im 16 and thinking of applying to quicktrip, or 7-11, (a major gas company), what do u do?

ive read over all the job titles, and job requirements online, and the employe instore said 16 year olds work there

what does a 16 year old do, it says clean pumps, sweep parkinglot, check in gas deliveries, is it a good place for a first job?

doesn't seem like too bad a deal. look out for the hours-most convenience stores are open 24-7-that means on you can work on your birthday, 4th of july, easter and that concert you wanted to go to etc. also working overnight is not cool. check the location as well-some stores seem to get robbed more then others. these exceptions - go for it.

well, i would definatly say no. i have seen the stuff that goes on at gas stations and thats not a job i would want. especially for my first job lol. i would go more towards something like a movie theatre or like something like that. i think it is a lot better to have a more secure job because some crazy stuff happens at gas stations. i hope this helps you!  :)
