Anyone in Auckland from Seattle?

Question

Can anybody describe the neighborhoods within Auckland city as to how they compare to the ones in Seattle. For example, which ones would be similar to Queen Anne, Magnolia, Laurelhurst, Leschi, Captial Hill, Wedgewood, Bellevue, etc.

What are those neighbourhoods like? By the way we call them suburbs here. I know Auckland pretty well, so if you're wanting any advice or area or anything you can email me.

NZ is quite prone to crimes of opportunity.  Lots of muggings and robberies (10 times the rate of New York City!!!) always lock everything. Stay off the streets at night. School system is quite poor as well.  I am from the USA and can't wait to get back!  I am from Omaha, NE.

Im sorry im not going to be too much help, but you can contact me too if you would like to know more about auckland. its just that i think that not many people from seattle would be living in auckland, maybe new york chicago or LA, but not seattle
