Anyone in air force reserves?

Question

I currently active duty air force and was thinking of palace chasing so i could stay home with my baby and do some college. How is the reserves working for you? How is the college money? How much is the pay for the reserves?

The pay is still by the pay grade. Your paid for the number of hours in a drill weekend.  Different states offer different educational benefits but if you have the GI bil, you could go to college full time and your monthly drill would supplement.  You probably would not be making as much as when on active duty.  There is no BAH for example and limited base privileges. Use of a base hospital or ned clinic for example, are limited to while you are doing your weekend drills. I would talk to the Reserve Recruiter on base and get more info to compare with your active duty benefits.
