Anyone in the OHIO/NKY area tried Surrogacy?

I'm looking for an agency to potentially be a surrogate through. Wondering if anyone has been a surrogate and/or used one and how your experience was! Thanks.

No.  Nor would I.   I know too many 'products' of surrogacy and egg/sperm donation and they're not too happy about it - their feelings in the whole matter were never considered.  Yuck!

I can't really answer your question, but I want to commend you on what you are looking into doing.  Despite what others here may say I think you are looking into doing a selfless and

The first surrogate-produced children are grown up, it's interesting what they have to say about being born just to be sold to someone else.

Have you done any research into how surrogate children feel about this?  Have you put any thought into the feelings of the potential child you would be giving birth to?

If not, I would suggest doing so.  While creating a baby for someone who can't is a noble idea, there are feelings involved here for the object in question, and this object is, after all, a HUMAN BEING.

Just thought I'd mention that.

ETA:  Not my issues at all.  I'm not a surro-baby.

I am hoping to adopt, but I too have to say that the idea is rather a turn-off for me.  

It is illegal in this country to sell our organs to people, but we can sell babies?  It just seems wrong.  Sorry, I really am not trying to be mean, it's just my feelings on the subject.
