how much can a commercial architect make annually?

bls says $50 - 80k ... does this include million dollar & up skyscrapers?

how much can a architectural firm make as a whole?

  1. A principal in a small firm (up to 25 employees) can make around $110-125k/year in a large city (more in cities like S.F., Chicago and NYC).  $80k/yr. is a salary range of a good project architect.

    An architectural firm can easily have multi million dollar contracts.  You have to remember that most projects take more than two years to design and construct.
