  1. Yes -- at least it's interesting to me.  I wrote a series of books over the past 15 years based loosely on Homer's "Iliad" and "Odyssey" and Virgil's "Aeneid" but also made more historical, detailing what life was like at the end of the Bronze Age in the Mediterranean.  If you're interested, you can look them up on Amazon, for the Kindle (an electronic book): "Golden Mukenai," "Steep Wilusiya," "People of the Inner Sea," and "Conspiracy of the Islands."  I'm working on the sequel, which will be "Fire Island," and then I'll start the final one, "Footprint in the Sea."  They tell about the Trojan War -- what REALLY happened -- and what came afterwards!  Does that sound interesting to you?

  2. Three actually. I'm writing the seventh in my series, a book about the elite spec-ops teams I created at the start of the series, and the last one goes into the backgrounds of my senior characters.

  3. I think all writers would like to consider their writing interesting.  I have published two titles under contemporary romance. (Basic boy meets girl story lines, the twist for me has been the interracial mix of the male characters, the first being a Native American male and the second being a Irish/black/mulatto male.)  Another point I like is that my heroines are fuller of figure.  Not unhealthy very energenic, health concious but with more meat on their bones, very hourglass shaped and fifties pin-up girl type women.  I feel that over all those women were healthier and better maintained than at most other time periods.

I began exploring different genre's of writing when fellow authors showed me their unfinished works.  We put ourselves to a challange to exchange our usual genre's for another.  I took on gothic and came up with something really fun.  From there I attempted a para-normal chick lit short story with romantic elements.  I also did a few chapters of a sci-fi/fantasy so I could have magic, mystical creatures floating around in outter space.  I wanted to do an urban fiction though it isn't my forte I have two on the table.  I also am working a murder mystery with romantic elements.  Again the idea is to challange myself, push myself and keep myself interested.  I live in space one minute, am chasing a bad guy after lunch and at bedtime I'm in the arms of the sexiest and most dedicated husband I could ever dream up.

I think for me what makes the process of writing interesting in the fact that I can write whatever I want.

  4. Yes, I am.  At least I like to think it's interesting.  It's called Kamikaze Parachutist; I hope to have it published and on bookshelves early 2011.

  5. I have loads of ideas but I can't seem to get them out and on to paper in a way that makes since. My favorite is one about a girl who gets lots in the future.
