Anyone involved in a citizen-driven project on Global Warming/Climate Change or know of any projects?

I'm working with a Ph.D. to bring together such groups for a workshop on "Deliberate Democracy and Climate Change" in Edmonton, AB Canada.

I'm involved in a group that is attempting to maximize our carbon output. We hope that this will speed up the whole global warming thing (or at least counteract all those carbon offsets).

The Go solar campaign in Marin County in California is a collaborative to bulk purchase alternative energy (solar) equipment for homes.  Very cool.  Here is their website.

I've developed a local brain trust to solve the world's problems.  We meet around a burning tire every weekend to drink, cookout, and discuss the issues at hand.  I'll get back to you on our findings.
