Anyone know ANYTHING about instant cameras?

My brother's friend just gave me his old Polaroid instant camera.

i took a few pictures and now the film is all out.

1. Where can I buy film for it?

2. How do i put the film in/out??

and i dont know anything about the battery stuff

3.How do I change the battery?

4. do i charge the battery??

5. HOW do i charge it?

and pleasee help me i dont know anything about these cameras!

  1. 1. It depends on the camera. Which model is it?

    2. This also depends on the model.

    3. The battery is in the cartridge. The film pack is essentially the battery.

    4. You cannot charge the battery.

    5. It isn't necessary to do so. You'll have a new battery every time you refill your camera with film.

    Please tell us which camera you have so we can help you identify the type of film needed. Enjoy your "new" old Polaroid.

    Follow-up:

    To load 600 film in your camera (One Step Silver Express), pop the the flash up by pressing the "Open/Close" button on the back and hit the "Film" button in the recess to open the compartment door. Load the film right side up (it should only fit one way but there should be markers on the film pack too) and close the door. The camera should automatically prepare itself.
