  1. Hi, I'm Italian and live in Padova, a beautiful city near Venice and Verona. In Padova there is a very important university and a lot of American boys and girls come to study here, so sometimes it happens to go for a walk and hear somebody speak in English (or American, are they so different?) : it's a little bit strange, but I like it :)

I think Italian isn't a simple language to learn, but at high school I'm learning also Latin and Ancient Greek and, I have to say, Italian is less difficult than Greek!

The verbs are the most difficult part: there are a lot of tenses and every single verbal person is different from the others, and many verbs are irregular ...

I think you should start taking some lesson by a competent teacher (just for the bases), and then look for an Italian  penfriend, I'd be glad to write to you :)

  2. Im italian but now i live in england!

I've been in italy for 22 years

And i no a lot of italian.

    just contact me.

    ciao

  3. I'm italian...

Well, italian is really different from english, it is also more difficult.. for example, we have female and male names, female and male articles, the plural of the names change in according with the last letter of the word, not as you, that you "just" add an "s" for most of the words...

Well, the grammar is difficult, but once you've learnt it, everything get easier..

And yes, maybe the easiest way is live here to learn language... You know, leaving with the "real language" everyday you can learn it easier and faster.... But well, if you need any translation or any helps/questions, just contact me!!

    ciao

    Dario

  4. You should come in italy for a while and do a course...there s loads of that for strangers in Italy...only by chat is quite impossible to learn a language

  5. Lots of schools there. Venezia has some of the best. But you should try this website for "Study Abroad"
