I'm just a vegetarian looking for a brand of eggless waffles, either frozen or packaged. I know Pillsberry used to make them however they are now discontinued. Anyone have any suggestions?

  1. Nature's Path has a line of vegan waffles. I've tried them and they are pretty good.

  2. If you live near a Whole Foods store, the brand that they make is vegan - the brand name is '365' I believe. They make mini-waffles that are really tasty ( I like the blueberry), and actually taste good right out of the freezer because they're small enough that they don't stay completely frozen for long.  I haven't tried their regular sized waffles, so I can't say with 100% certainty that they are egg-free, but I would assume that they use the same recipe for the minis and the regular ones.

Like someone else said, you could make your own. If you're a big waffle fan, you could buy a waffle iron and experiment with all types of flavors and ingredients :)

  3. Van's makes a vegan waffle

  4. I don't know any by heart, but if you look in the Vegitarian section of your local Krogers, Walmart(g*y!), Target, or local grocier, you will find alot of vegen stuff.

  5. some vegetarian you turned out to be.

  6. Vans has eggless waffles -- the Multi-Grain and 97% Fat Free ones.

You can find them at Whole Food and other health food stores... and possibly at your local grocery store.

  7. noeggos

  8. Try making them yourself- they'll taste better, you'll know exactly what is in them (no five syllable ingredients) and there are a bunch of eggless recipes out there.

If time is an issue, make them on the weekends or whenever you have time, then freeze them. You can stick them in the toaster in the morning and voila.

http://wwww.vegweb.com is a great site for eggless recipes.
