  1. I'm guessing when you say comprehension you mean math and if so, just take him to tutoring to have one on one time to get things straight. A good tool is tutoring or Brain Age for the DS.

  2. 6th grade huh??  Im sure your son has already found the perfect "tool" and the only one h**l ever need

  3. think outside the box and ebrill him in a shop class

  4. google

thats how i got through it

  5. repetition as a pattern over time

  6. Give him some practice reading and with some visual cues, such as pictures that correlate to the story so that he can picture what the story was about and then be able summarize. He may not be able to use visual guides in school, but at least it will give him some practice how to picture what he is reading.

  7. you should sit with him while doing his homework...have him read the question (perhaps even re-read it) and tell you what he thinks the answer is. You may have to explain it to him in a different way for him to get it. When he sees that you can think of other ways to solve the problem, he'll start to learn that. He may also benefit from highlighted texts...or you could help him learn how to underline or highlight the main ideas in a story or text. Also, he could read a paragraph (or two) at a time and summarize the main idea of that paragraph. By the end of the story, he'll pretty much have a good idea of what it all means.

  8. Make him read to you every night.  Then talk about what was read.

  9. a knife

  10. teach
