  1. when you find one do not kill it as its young will probably survive .place a moth ball under it ,or close to it .and you will see no more in the future.

  2. Get a flashlight and a can of Raid ,Go out in the yard in the evening when its dark and search for them they will be out at this time, usually they are at ground level and like to attach their webs from objects in the yard too the ground , Do this for several days and you should be rid of them for a while ,hope this helps !

  3. EEEEEK!! I never kill spiders, I always set them free,  but that is one kind of spider I make a 'killing' exception for.  I don't know how well it works on b.w.'s, but I have a bottle of "Ortho" carpenter ant and termite killer' concentrate, and it lists all of the insects that it kills, and b.w.'s are one of them (you have to open the instructions that are taped to the side of the bottle-the b.w.'s are listed under "outdoor pests").  Good luck!!!

  4. Typically they nest in or around debris piles, wood piles, empty planter pots etc. Remove those and they will go with.

Moth balls can be hazardous for children and pets also.

  5. I suggest killing the males, or as many as you can find. They tend to attract the females which, if they are in fact black widows, will be very dangerous. Male Black Widows are considerably smaller than the females, which may make them harder to find. I suggest looking their pictures up on google to get a better understanding of what they look like, it will be easier to hunt them down
