Anyone know a great wedding venue?

I have a very tight wedding budget and with nine months to go I'm still looking for a wedding venue :/ I really don't have a lot of money to work with. I already have my wedding dress that I got for a great price at Davids Bridal. I was def. blessed and got it for a $100.00. My photography is also free but as far as everything else is concerned... I'm still working on it. :) Any advice would be great. Thank you so much!

Budget: Around $4000.00

  1. check out vrbo.com for a beachfront or countryside estate to rent. Good luck!

  2. To be honest, $4000 isn't a lot to work with, but it can definitely be done.

Here is a list of places in your area:

Places I would look: large estates that rent space, city spaces, parks that have buildings for rent.

    My best advice is to:

    1. Find a venue that can double as the ceremony site for either dirt cheap or free.

    2. Try to find a place that will let you choose your own caterer/cake person and bring in your own alcohol. This can save you a ton on food costs!

    3. Have a slightly untraditional reception: a Sunday brunch reception or a Friday night cocktail hour are great examples of that.

If you need any other ideas feel free to email me.

  3. the venue depends a lot on where you live. i can tell you 100 places, but i'm in ohio, you may be in cali

you can do outdoor weddings for pretty cheap

also there are places that give huge discounts if you have the wedding on a friday instead of saturday

  4. How many guests are you having?  $4,000.00 would be more than enough for my little 20-person event.  But it wouldn't stretch that far if you have 200 guests.
