Hmmm, upscale? That's a stretch. At the Pike in Long Beach there is The Mai Tai Bar . Crows Cocktails is an upscale dive. Belmont Station has food and music, but upscale?? Good luck.

If you want nice you need to go to a restaurant with a full bar. Long Beach loves dive bars. The nicest bar in BS is Legend's and that a sports bar.

The nicer places are in Naples, which is just over the bridge from Belmont Shore.    

Vint's, Bono's (service can be iffy), Kelly's (on 2nd in Naples), Michael's (on 2nd in Naples, nice rooftop bar), Tantalum (in Marina Pacifica), Fora (on 2nd in Naples), Nico's (on 2nd in Naples).

Not in Belmont- thats a more casual area- go down Ocean to Pine St.
