Anyone know a peer reviewed published science paper that came from work on the International Space Station?

I do not. And it bothers me. We've spent a boatload of money on it. And i read alot.

Of course if no one here knows, that doesn't mean there aren't any. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

OK so here's one paper that is based on experiments on board the ISS and it already has citations!:

And here's one on Dark Matter (another esperiment conducted on board the ISS)

I actually found 296 peer-reviewed articles which have something to do with the ISS - but I suspect many of them are groundwork for future experiments

Several are on the effect of being in space, or travel to/from the ISS on mammalian cells.

i popped over to NASA.gov and looked at the very first shuttle to the ISS mission, where there were about 6 experiments, 5 of which were exclusive to Shuttle or ISS monitoring of equipment or personnel, but one looked interesting... an on-going experiment about growing proteins in space.

there were two publications noted:

Ciszak E, Hammons AS, Hong YS. Use of Capillaries for Macromolecular Crystallization in a Cryogenic Dewar. Crystal Growth & Design. 2002 ;2(3):235-238.

microgravity is the big thing up there, crystal and plant growth, that kind of thing. not revolutionary science of the kind that would be trumpeted in popular science media perhaps but it's not something that can be done on earth.
