I've been trying for a few days now to find a site that will give you a list of the most covered stocks, but so far I haven't found any.

Anyone know of any site that does?

Thanks.

  1. You can try MSN Money, using the investing tab

    http://moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp

I have seen some number of analysts but they don't track all of them, in fact I haven't seen any site that keeps a record like that.  Now Zacks Research http://www.zacks.com/ follows many analyst and gives their opinion based on the analysts but once again they don't track them all.

After all my years in the business I have come to learn that you don't follow analysts, most of them are always wrong.  There's a saying " if you ask 10 analysts their opinion, you'll get 18 different answers"

    Good luck

  2. Morningstar offers these data on an ongoing basis

  3. try zacks, firstcall, onesource, or the best of all would be Bloomberg, which is expensive and you can get at your local business college's library hopefully.

you go on bloomberg, type in say for IBM, the ticker, so you wold so the following:

    IBM <equity> ANR <go>

it's taht easy.  you will get an amazing amount of info re analyst coverage including consensus info, average ratings, links thru bloomberg for all other stocks the analyst covers, etc etc...the list goes on and on and on.  bloomberg is an amazing tool.
